Founded on Sep. 24,1997, Binh Duong university has accompanied Binh Duong province in its development since its early days of establishment. Its 20 years of growth has kept up withthe educational philosophy of ”Study-Ask-Understand-Act!”, and provided society with more than 26,000 graduates. 500 of these graduates are Masters of Business Administration. At present, BDU has signed cooperation with 30 universities, colleges and institutions from 11 countries such as: Russia, Poland, US, UK, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Belarus, China, Laos and Cambodia.
In line with these signed agreements, the international partners constantly send faculties and experts to BDU for instruction and research. For the strategy of development up to year 2030, the school aims to become well qualified not only in AUN but also in ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) standardization.
In the process of academic improvement and accreditation before society, BDU is diligent in sending groups of teachers, students and staff to the rural countryside to research methods of innovation of the rural areas. The BDU welfare fund is constantly spent to support the building of bridges, schools and housing for the remote peoples. As of now, BDU has been caring for 100 Vietnam “heroen” mothersof Ca Mau’s districts of U Minh and Thoi Binh in an effort to pay tribute to the predecessors and maintain the national tradition of gratitude toward benefactors.
